Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to oversee overnight merchandising, ensure product availability, and maintain presentation standards. The role involves directing the overnight team, coaching associates, and serving as manager on duty when needed.

Forklift certification is required, with cost covered by BJ’s for training. You will drive safe, efficient operations and uphold GOLD standards, contributing to member satisfaction and club performance during overnight hours.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required.
• High school diploma, college degree, and/or management experience in big box wholesale, retail or grocery preferred.
• Forklift operator is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Open shift availability required.
• Must maintain all training and required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight merchandising execution with purpose and clear expectations.
• Coordinate staffing, training, and task execution for forklift operators and merchandising teams.
• Oversee overnight operations to ensure club readiness for morning operations.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and availability across the sales floor.
• Execute corporate merchandising plans, resets, and sales initiatives on time and with quality.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with club leadership to align overnight and daytime processes.
