Job summary

Wonder Valley Ranch Resort is seeking an Overnight Guest Services & Safety Manager (MOD) to lead operations during the overnight hours at our resort near Sanger, CA. This full-time role focuses on guest satisfaction, safety, and smooth operations when other departments are not present.

The ideal candidate will work independently, make sound decisions, and maintain high standards of service, even in the quietest hours.

Qualifications

• Overnight supervisory experience in hospitality or events.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions overnight.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site Manager on Duty during overnight shifts.
• Handle after-hours guest check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Answer and route guest calls with professional etiquette.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Conduct routine property patrols to ensure safety and security.
• Coordinate with security staff during events.
• Oversee overnight hotel and resort operations.
• Complete meeting room and event setup transitions, including furniture movement.
• Inspect vacant rooms and facilities; report maintenance or housekeeping issues.
• Shut down utilities in unused areas to support cost control efforts.
• Balance cash banks and handle register transactions.
• Communicate overnight activity and key updates to incoming management and front desk teams.
