Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced RN - Charge Nurse to coordinate and evaluate unit activities, ensuring high-quality patient care during the third shift. This role will mentor staff, model nursing process application, and uphold hospital policies while supporting department goals.

Degree in nursing is required with BSN preferred; active RN license and BLS are mandatory, with ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC or similar certifications possible based on unit assignment.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care.
• Mentor nursing staff and provide direction on nursing processes and quality standards.
• Uphold hospital policies and department goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within scope.
