Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a RN - Charge Nurse to coordinate unit activities, mentor staff, and ensure quality patient care during the assigned shift. You will report to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and model nursing process and quality standards.

Education: RN license required with BLS; BSN preferred. Experience: at least 1 year as a staff nurse. Location: Baptist Medical Center East. Type: Regular full-time, third shift (7 on / 7 off) in the United States.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required; active in the state
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area
• BSN preferred, degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care during the assigned shift
• Mentor staff and serve as a role model in nursing process, quality standards, and hospital policies
• Report to Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and support department goals
