Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN - Charge Nurse to coordinate and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care during the assigned shift. This individual will mentor staff and serve as a role model, directing the nursing process in line with hospital policies and quality standards.

Required to hold a degree in nursing with active RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area. BSN is preferred, and a minimum of 1 year of staff nurse experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year staff nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate unit activities for quality patient care during the assigned shift.
• Serve as a mentor to staff and direct the nursing process and standards.
