Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus. The role covers nights (7:00pm-7:30am) with a 36-hour work week and requires CPR certification, nursing assistant training or related experience, and may include a care Companion Course within six months of hire.

Responsibilities include performing patient care tasks under RN supervision to ensure patient comfort and safety, with no travel required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required by the American Heart Association.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, performs patient care tasks to provide care, comfort and safety for patients according to established procedures.
