Job summary
Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Observation Unit to assist with essential patient care tasks under the supervision of an RN, ensuring patient comfort and safety according to established procedures.
This full-time role requires CPR certification and completion of NA training or equivalent experience, with a shift pattern of 7:00am to 7:30pm and every third weekend/holiday track. Strong teamwork and prioritization are essential.
Qualifications
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or nursing clinical rotation
- Completion of the care Companion Course within six months if required by the department
- Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and the ability to follow directions

- Under RN direction, performs patient care tasks and procedures to ensure patient care, comfort and safety in the Observation Unit
