Job summary

Rush Specialty Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation, in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor—Registered Nurse (RN) for the full-time night shift. The position offers an hourly compensation range of $48.58 to $64.00 based on experience and includes company paid parking as added perk.

You will direct nursing staff, oversee patient care, and ensure continued alignment with hospital philosophy and patient-care standards under the Chief Nursing Officer guidance.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.
