Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility during non-business hours for the entire hospital; communicates information timely.
• Supervises nursing department during non-business hours.
• Ensures adequate staffing in the nursing department.

• Communicates expectations regarding care standards.
• Manages crisis and emergency situations.
