Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking an experienced nurse leader to assist the Nurse Director/Manager in coordinating the clinical and business activities on the units to ensure optimum patient care in a cost-effective manner.

Work hours are 3p-1a across four ten-hour shifts. You will promote independent decision making, coach staff, monitor quality metrics, and drive performance improvements while supporting a high-performing healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years recent clinical/cath lab experience required.
• Broad knowledge of nursing practice and ability to apply specific skills in nursing intervention.
• Competency in management and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Assists Nurse Director / Manager in overall manager/leadership responsibilities for assigned department.
• Assist with coaching and counseling employees to maintain high performance standards, and provides input into performance evaluations.
• Maintains day to day operations, including bed flow, patient rounding, chart checks, and collaboration with other departments.
• Demonstrates and promotes fiscal responsibility.
• Assists with coordinating inventory, contracts, billing processes, and report generation.
• Assists with managing staff levels through unit staffing for nursing care.
• Monitors quality metrics and facilitates performance improvement activities.
