Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking an Administrative Supervisor / Administrator on Duty for the night shift in inpatient nursing administration. The role ensures safe patient flow, operational oversight, and timely escalation of issues across the bedside units.

The candidate must be a registered nurse in Florida with 2 years of acute care experience; BSN preferred and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required.

Qualifications

• RN license in Florida (active)
• BSN preferred
• National certification in a specialty within 2 years
• Maintains current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC as required
• Two years of RN experience in acute care

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe, timely patient flow and bed management.
• Oversee staffing resources with department leadership.
• Serve as Incident Commander for HICS events until administrator arrives.
• Provide leadership and crisis management support across shifts.
• Document census, events and flow outcomes in EHR and bed management systems.
