Job summary

Guardian Angels Care Center in Elk River, MN is seeking a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) to provide resident-centered care under a licensed nurse's supervision. The role focuses on helping residents achieve their highest physical, cognitive, and psychosocial function.

The position is part-time with a 46-hour pay period and every-other weekend and holiday availability. Competitive wages are based on experience, with benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant registry.
• Prior nursing experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age, or older.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal cares for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Implement Restorative/Maintenance nursing programs as developed by Nursing Rehabilitation.
• Document cares provided, resident observations.
• Assist residents to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function.
• Maintain a dignified, resident-centered environment.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control guidelines.
• Adhere to standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Protect confidentiality per HIPAA and policy.
• Uphold Guardian Angels' mission, vision and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
