Job summary

PACE SEMI’s Franklin Terrace Community Living is seeking a Community Living Associate (CLA) for night shifts in Southfield, MI. Under supervision, the CLA provides supportive services to residents, following each participant's care plan and coordination with the clinical team.

The role requires completion of a basic nursing assistant training program, a valid Michigan driver’s license, and CPR/BLS (or equivalent) credentials.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan Driver's license.
• Current CPR card required.
• Certification is optional though preferred, but must have one year experience with frail or elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care up to 2-person assist.
• Engage in 1:1 interaction in DHC and CL as outlined in the care plan.
• Assist with activities and meals; help with toileting and incontinence.
• Perform homemaking, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
• Coordinate care with participants and the DHC per the care plan.
• Document accurately and timely in the participant’s record.
