Job summary

Corewell Health's Taylor Hospital is seeking a qualified Nursing Assistant to join the Nursing Resource Pool on the night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.).

You will assist licensed nursing staff with direct patient care and help maintain a safe, clean unit as you rotate through multiple units. Candidates should have prior hospital or nursing home experience; CNA certification is preferred and BLS is required by orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital or nursing home settings preferred.
• BLS certification required by orientation.
• CNA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care.
• Maintains an orderly unit environment with supplies and equipment.
• Supports admission, discharge and transfer of patients on and off unit.
• Maintains effective communication with the care team.
