Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, part of Oceans Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to oversee patient care across hospital units. The role requires deep knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and the ability to apply judgment in leadership and clinical decisions.

You will support the DON/Nurse Manager, ensure staffing plans, supervise staff, provide education, document incidents, and maintain a therapeutic milieu.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the resident working state.
• Minimum of 3 years Registered Nursing experience.
• Psychiatric nursing experience required.
• CPR certification (as applicable) and de-escalation training are preferred

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs by rounds on all hospital units.
• Manage staffing plans and resource use within department.
• Serve as clinical liaison between DON/Nurse Manager and staff.
• Provide timely incident documentation and follow-up with management.
• Administer medications safely and document in medical records.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
