Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in State of facility required.
• Three years as an RN strongly preferred.
• Two years of RN experience required.
• Two years of RN experience with the facility's patient population preferred.
• One year of prior experience as a charge RN or other admin role required.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating and supervising nursing operations.
• Oversee delivery of behavioral health nursing services with a positive and professional attitude.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and administration to meet resident needs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and nursing standards.
• Provide leadership to ensure patient safety and optimal care quality.
• Recruit, hire and train new staff; identify educational needs and develop programs.
• Prepare reports and assist with budgets and expenditures.
• Provide direct care as needed.
