Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for psychiatric care to oversee nursing staff during the night shift and ensure delivery of high‑quality consumer care within a behavioral health facility.

The role requires current Florida RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and prior supervisory experience. You will coordinate care plans, support staff development, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Additional education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Clinical Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and procedures.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders
• Ensures continuity of care when admitting, discharging, referring, or transferring a consumer
• Supervises and implements admission protocols for services
• Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
• Must have functional knowledge of the Baker Act and Marchman Acts
• Proficiency in assessment and crisis intervention techniques.
• Managerial and supervisory skills are necessary
