Job summary

LifeStream in Leesburg, FL is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to lead clinical operations in our mental health facility. You will conduct assessments, supervise nursing staff, coordinate patient care, and ensure compliance with mental health regulations.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a nursing degree, and at least three years of nursing management in a mental health setting; strong leadership, communication, and EHR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
• Additional education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Clinical Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for consumers with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities.
• Must have a functional knowledge of the Baker and Marchman Acts.
• Administers and transcribe medications as ordered by the physician
• Advises Nurse Administrator(s) in matters of concern to nursing care and consumer needs.
