LifeStream Behavioral Center in Leesburg, FL is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time night shift to provide comprehensive behavioral health nursing care. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

The role requires a Florida LPN license and at least 6 years of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health, with strong communication and crisis intervention skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Florida Board of Nursing eligibility.
• Minimum of 6 years experience as an LPN, preferably in behavioral health.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and crisis intervention skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.
