Job summary

AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool for part-time night shifts. You will provide coordinated nursing care across multiple units, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with policy and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient responses, educating families, and collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• RN license in applicable state.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Administers medications and treatments safely.
• Monitors patient responses and communicates findings.
• Floats to appropriate departments as needed.
