Job summary

Nevada Behavioral Health is seeking a Mobile Assessor in Las Vegas, NV to conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments in-field, including hospitals, clinics, and community settings. You will evaluate mental health and substance use, coordinate referrals, and develop individualized care plans with clients and families.

Requirements include 2 years in behavioral health, an active LCSW/LMFT/LMFTI/CPC/CPCI/PhD license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in behavioral health assessments and clinical services.
• Active license as LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, CPC, CPCI, or PhD.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Must have independent transportation and travel to multiple locations.
• Must be willing to receive vaccinations per hospital/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of mental health conditions, substance use, and psychosocial functioning.
• Evaluate risk and safety, identifying self-harm or harm risks and take action.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clients and families.
• Coordinate referrals to internal programs, external providers, or community resources.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers for comprehensive care.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards; ensure accurate documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed.
