Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care according to the nursing process, addressing physical, emotional, and social needs.

The role involves developing plans of care with patients and care partners, collaborating with inter-professional teams, and using health IT to improve safety and outcomes. A current PA RN license and a specialized nursing diploma are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient-and family-centered practice and collaboration with patients and care partners.
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations.
• Effective communication and delegation within a care team.
• Knowledge of documenting health information and using IT in care delivery.
• BLS certification and RN licensure in PA.

Responsabilités

• Interact with patients and families to provide compassionate care.
• Identify learning needs with patients and care partners and provide education.
• Use information technology to communicate, document, and monitor care outcomes.
• Work in nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and shared decision-making.
