The University of Toledo is hiring a Mental Health Aide to support the Staff Nurse and Therapists on the nursing unit. You will perform delegated tasks and help maintain a clean, orderly work area on the unit.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and potential completion of UTMC Health Tech training. Weekend/holiday work and shift rotation may be necessary.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Attain UTMC Healthcare Tech training; CPR/BLS certification required thereafter.
• If CNA/STNA certified and active, training course may be waived.
• Past nursing program graduation is acceptable.
• Skill assessment may waive Healthcare Tech course.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate clearly.

• Rotate shifts and units as required.
• Work some weekends and holidays.
