Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician for the MedSurg 6 East unit. You will work under RN supervision to provide direct clinical and support services, emphasizing patient-centered care and collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS/CPR certification, physical stamina, and the ability to pass competency testing. Night shifts, 40 hours per week, on-site at M6E, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS and CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care interventions for MedSurg patients and their families.
• Assist with vital signs, bathing, feeding, wound care, hygiene, room cleaning, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean, well-equipped MedSurg environment and assist with inventory.
