Countryside Memory Care in Canby, OR is seeking a Medication Technician for a part-time weekend night shift (10pm–6am). You will assist residents with medications in accordance with physician orders, policies, and state regulations, supporting independence and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting administration, monitoring for changes, maintaining secure storage, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for medication administration in assisted living.
• Medication Technician certification/training/delegation requirements per state.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required by policy.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or related healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families and staff.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication procedures.
• Must meet physical requirements for assisting residents with mobility.

Responsabilités

• Administer resident medications as ordered and per procedures.
• Document medication administration accurately and timely.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or reactions and report promptly.
• Ensure medications are stored, secured, and handled properly.
• Assist with medication ordering, refills, and inventory as assigned.
• Support residents with ADLs and daily living activities as needed.
• Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs.
• Communicate with residents, families, nursing staff, and care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
