Job summary

Regent Court Memory Care in Corvallis, Oregon, is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate, personalized care for residents living with memory loss. You will assist a small group of residents with daily activities, companionship, and emotional support, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and cared for.

This role offers growth in healthcare skills, the chance to learn from experienced staff, and a schedule that supports ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR certified, Food handlers' certificate.
• CNA/HCA certified.
• One year experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a Patient Advocate: Actively assist nursing staff with direct patient care and respond to resident needs.
• Ensure Accuracy & Safety: Meticulously manage medications, transcribe doctor's orders, and monitor for drug interactions.
• Keep Things Running Smoothly: Handle crucial administrative tasks, including ordering medications and supplies, and communicating with doctors and families.
• Collaborate and Report: Partner with nursing staff and leadership by reporting any discrepancies to the Director of Nursing.
• Monitor Vitals: Take and record residents' vitals, and assist in resident care emergencies as needed.
