Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Cedar Hills, UT is seeking a NOC Medication Technician for a part-time role. You will document, deliver and administer medicines to residents per physician orders, while delivering high-quality care and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily medications, observing administration, coordinating with pharmacy and physicians, and maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Must be able to document, deliver and administer medicines as prescribed.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect resident confidentiality.
• Effective communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to follow written directions and state regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments, and care as assigned.
• Observe and document medication administration accuracy and timing.
• Notify supervisor of any deviations in medication administration.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of resident medications and care.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Prepare medications for distribution and assist with narcotic counts.
