Labcorp in Seattle, WA seeks a Medical Lab Technologist to join our team. Work schedule Friday-Monday 9:00 PM–7:30 AM at Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab.

The role involves testing specimens and maintaining instrumentation to ensure accurate patient results. We require a Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science and ASCP or AMT certification. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Biological Science or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
• Perform routine and complex procedures per SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Demonstrate ability to make technical decisions regarding testing.
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and QC procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies.
• Assist with processing of specimens as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
