Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Medical Lab Technologist to join our Seattle team. Schedule: 7 on 7 off, Thursday-Wednesday 9:30PM-8:00AM.

Responsibilities include accepting specimens, performing tests, troubleshooting instruments, and reporting results to support patient care. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological Science or Medical Technology and certification (ASCP or AMT).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Float between Swedish Cherry Hill and Ballard.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE.
