Job summary

Laboratory Corporation in Seattle, WA seeks a Medical Lab Technologist for the Cherry Hill Hospital Stat Lab. This overnight position runs Friday through Monday, performing lab procedures, operating instrumentation, and ensuring accurate test results in a hospital setting.

You will assess specimen quality, troubleshoot instruments, perform maintenance, and communicate results to support patient care around the clock.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• ASCP or AMT certification.
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail with multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability according to established testing criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical laboratory procedures per departmental protocols.
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function.
• Execute preventative maintenance, quality control, and reagent preparation procedures.
• Generate accurate and timely test results to support patient care delivery.
