Job summary

Elite Care at Oatfield Estates in Milwaukie, OR seeks a Med Tech to provide daily resident care, assist with ADLs, and monitor health changes. Training is provided; a medication administration certificate is not required initially.

You will train as a caregiver for 30 days to understand residents' needs, with shift options including graveyard and weekend coverage. Salary reflects experience and night differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year medication management/administration experience required.
• Ability to administer insulin required.
• Speak, read and write English fluently.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to pass background check in Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with ADLs.
• Teamwork, cooperation, training & development.
• Assist clients with personal care (e.g., bathing, morning/evening preparations, dressing).
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs of clients.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and colleagues.
