Job summary

Elite Care at Oatfield Estates in Milwaukie, OR seeks a Med Tech to provide daily resident care, assist with ADLs, and monitor health changes. Training is provided; a medication administration certificate is not required initially.

You will train as a caregiver for 30 days to understand residents' needs, with shift options including graveyard and weekend coverage. Salary reflects experience and night differential.

Job Description

As a Med Tech with us, you will provide daily care to our residents by supporting their daily activities of living. This includes hygiene assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement, monitoring and reporting changes in health and behavior, and supporting the overall needs of our residents. You will be genuinely interested in supporting our residents and their team members. Experience working with seniors is a plus; however, it is not required. Other requirements include valuing and respecting our residents and having consistent attendance and a reliable method of transportation; the ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes; and excellent communication skills. Training is provided, and a medication administration certification is not required. Please be advised that you will train as a caregiver first for 30 days to better understand the needs of our residents.

Shift

Sunday-Wednesday, 6pm-6am; Wednesday is 6pm-12am.

Compensation Range

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour (based on experience level) Extra $2/hour shift differential for noc shift
