Job summary

Inspired Living in Ocoee, FL is seeking a Part Time Med Tech for the 11pm-7am shift at our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The role involves medication administration, patient care, and coordinating with medical professionals to meet residents' needs.

You will work under the Health and Wellness Director, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support a safe, compassionate environment while documenting tasks and outcomes daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of caregiving experience.
• State-required Med Tech certifications.
• Six months supervisory experience in a health-related field.
• Ability to read physician orders and match to MARs for residents.
• Ability to understand medical terminology for passing medications and communicating with medical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Follow service plans and pass resident medications per physician orders and MAR.
• Document completion of daily tasks.
• Document observed changes in resident condition per regulations.
• Communicate resident needs with other Medication Aides for consistency.
• Participate in meal service and dining room duties.
• Supervise staff during working hours.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing trainings.
• Follow CQI program and report issues to supervisor for correction.
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.
• Assist with investigations and safe return-to-work processes for injuries.
