Waters Edge Assisted Living Facility in Lake Wales, FL is seeking a Med Tech (Part-Time and PRN) to support overnight care from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. This role focuses on safe medication administration, resident assistance, and daily living activities.

Ideal candidates hold a valid state certification as a Med Tech or Certified Medication Aide, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state certification as a Med Tech or Certified Medication Aide.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, mobility, and medication management.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Document care provided accurately and timely in residents’ records.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality care delivery.
