Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Night shift RN to act as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team. You will ensure individualized, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting, supported by evidence-based practice and Wellstar governance models.

The role emphasizes professional nursing practice, patient safety, and collaboration with care teams to achieve optimal outcomes for patients, families, and significant others.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years RN direct patient care experience.
• Licensed RN with knowledge of Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
• BLS certification is required; NRP or related neonatal life support certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and significant others to align goals with the plan of care.
• Practices using current clinical standards and participates in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care within the care team.
• Engages in performance improvement activities and supports shared governance.
