Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a nights shift in Lewiston, Maine, within a Med Surg unit on a 12-week assignment.

You will provide bedside care, monitor vitals, administer medications, assist with IV therapy and blood draws, and coordinate with RNs and physicians.

Requirements include LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certifications, current BLS, and 6 months to 1 year of Med Surg experience; weekly pay and dedicated career support are provided.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support care plans and patient throughput
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly
