Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med-Surg assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Night shift, 12-week assignment, pay $40.00–$50.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

You will provide bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with meds and IVs, document in EMR, and collaborate with RNs and physicians. Requirements include HS diploma, LPN/LVN license, IV and BW certs, current BLS, and 6 months to 1 year Med-Surg experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment.
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes.
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws.
• Support care plans and patient throughput.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance.
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems.
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly.
