Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Med Surg unit in Lewiston, Maine. This assignment runs for 12 weeks with night shifts and offers weekly pay.

You will provide bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with medications and IV therapy, and collaborate with RNs and physicians. Maine-specific pay ranges from $40.00 to $50.00 per hour, gross, with weekly scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• LPN or LVN license required.
• IV certification and BW certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support care plans and patient throughput
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly
