Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine.

You will provide bedside Med-Surg care on night shifts, monitor vitals and changes, assist with medications and IV therapy, and collaborate with RNs and physicians to support patient throughput.

Required: LPN license (LPN/LVN), IV and BW certifications, BLS, and 6 months to 1 year Med-Surg experience. Weekly pay and dedicated career specialists accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or LVN license required.
• IV certification and BW certification required.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of LPN Med Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside patient care in a Med-Surg environment
• Monitor vital signs, patient status, and clinical changes
• Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Support care plans and patient throughput
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance
• Document care in EMR/EHR systems
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly
