Job summary

Harris Regional Medical Center in Sylva, NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on Med/Surg to join a 27-bed unit. The role involves direct patient care, vital signs, daily living activities, and collaboration with RNs and CNAs to deliver compassionate care.

Full-time night shift with 3x12s and rotating weekends. Minimum NC CNA listing and high school diploma preferred. BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Requires current CNA listing with NC Division of Facility Services.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care under RN supervision, including vitals and glucose monitoring.
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation.
• Reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked and orderly.
