Job summary

Harris Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Med/Surg CNA to join our 27-bed unit on a 3x12 night schedule with rotating weekends. You will perform basic patient care under an RN, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain patient safety and comfort.

Join a collaborative team of RNs and CNAs, support patient assessment and care planning, and contribute to a positive care environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current listing as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the state of North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
• Certification: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, ambulation).
• Reports abnormal findings or changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
