Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is hiring a CNA for the inpatient unit on nights. Under RN supervision, you’ll help patients with daily living activities and assist in delivering safe, efficient nursing care across age groups.

You’ll also perform clerical tasks to support patient flow and may assist physicians during procedures. The ideal candidate has CNAI (CNA II preferred), a high school diploma, BLS certification, and at least 1 year in a hospital or surgical setting, plus basic computer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CNAI certification.
• CNAI certification required; CNA II preferred.
• BLS certification through an AHA/ARC course required.
• At least 1 year hospital or ambulatory surgical center experience.
• Experience with medical records and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living across ages.
• Support nursing care and maintain safe, clean environment.
• Provide clerical/receptionist duties to aid patient care delivery.
• Work under pressure with patience, tact, stamina and endurance.
• Assist physicians in procedures as needed.
