Seton Medical Center Harker Heights in Texas is seeking a Night Shift Medical-Surgical Charge Nurse to lead the Med/Surg unit and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care. This role supports staffing, rounds, and coordination of care during night operations.

The position requires TX RN licensure, BSN to be completed within four years, BLS within 14 days of hire, ACLS on hire, and a minimum of one year in Med/Surg nursing. This is a full-time, on-site night shift opportunity.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license and Texas Board of Nursing registration required.
• BSN must be completed within four years of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Serve as clinical leader for the Med/Surg unit and manage shift operations.
• Make assignments, coordinate care, and act as the resource nurse.
• Participate in staffing decisions and conduct patient rounds.
• Maintain TJC compliance and drive performance improvement.
• Oversee long-range responsibilities including evaluations and budget planning.
