Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas RN license or multi-state recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role
• ACLS certification required upon hire

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care in Med/Surg Unit 1
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, nursing supervisor/manager, and colleagues
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
