Seton Medical Center Harker Heights is seeking a night-shift, full-time Medical Surgical Charge Nurse in Harker Heights, TX. You will serve as the clinical leader for the Med/Surg unit, coordinate care, and ensure smooth shift operations with staffings decisions and patient rounds.

The role requires Texas RN licensure, a BSN within four years, and NLN Compact recognition. Experience in Med/Surg and BLS/ACLs are expected to support daily patient care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must complete BSN within four years of hire.
• Home state license recognition via the Nurse Licensure Compact.

Responsabilités

• Clinical leader responsible for Med/Surg unit operations and management.
• Handle shift operations: assignments, care coordination, issue resolution, resource nurse role, staffing decisions, patient rounding, and JCAHO compliance.
• Oversee long-range duties: employee evaluations, corrective action, budgeting, and quality improvement.
