Job summary

Grand Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Coral Gables, FL. The role involves ensuring all areas and systems are well-maintained, handling preventive maintenance, and addressing work orders to keep the community in excellent operating order.

Qualifications

• Must possess English reading, writing and speaking ability to communicate with Residents and colleagues.
• Experience or training in building maintenance/engineering including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across community facilities and systems.
• Respond to work orders; troubleshoot, repair, or replace components as needed.
• Paint and recondition surfaces in public areas, apartments, corridors, and exterior areas.
• Maintain inventory levels and document all work performed.
