Job summary

Allegro Fort Lauderdale Senior Living by Allegro is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep the community’s apartments, common areas, and systems running smoothly so residents can live comfortably and safely every day.

You’ll perform routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and help maintain logs and safety standards in a friendly, professional, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a hotel or assisted living setting.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of building systems and general repairs.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Professional, resident-friendly attitude — you’re often in their home.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout the community — apartments, common areas, and building systems.
• Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with a professional, courteous approach.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs as needed.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with community standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work orders.
• Support the maintenance team in keeping Allegro Fort Lauderdale looking and functioning at its best.
