Midtown Assisted Living Residence in Hollywood, Florida, seeks a reliable Maintenance professional for full-time work. You will help maintain exteriors and interiors, service HVAC and door locks, perform basic carpentry, and support safety audits to ensure a safe living environment.

The role requires English proficiency, a high school diploma or GED, and a genuine care for the elderly. Teamwork and professional conduct are emphasized in daily tasks and resident care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with commercial maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, electrical, alarm systems, appliances, HVAC.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must care for the elderly and work well with team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, and planting.
• Maintain lawn care equipment and perform routine checks.
• Repair and maintain exterior and interior door locks.
• Service heating and cooling units per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with fire drills, life safety code assignments, and safety audits.
• Perform minor repairs and carpentry with hand tools.
• Other duties to ensure upkeep of the facility.
