Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at its Berwick, Pennsylvania distribution center. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and repair conveyors, building systems, and electrical/controls equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You should have electronic technology training and 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (or 3 years), plus PLC/PC programming knowledge and strong electrical skills with 480V 3-phase and 110 VAC.

Qualifications

• Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology.
• 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment).
• PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24 VDC systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs and industrial control devices/networking.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to business leadership.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices.
• Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop).
• Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely.
