Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with welding, burning, and cutting.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes, and PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage).
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems; follow PM standards and document work performed for asset management; areas include PLCs, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians.
• Work with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
